Facebook Doesn’t Want Your Vote on Privacy

There’s been a lot of controvery lately about the changes Facebook is making to its privacy and governance policies, in case, the fact that the social network has decided to end the practice of allowing users to vote on the changes it makes.
Since 2009 Facebook has allowed its users to cast a vote regarding the changes Facebook makes eversince they recieved a large amount of complaints due to changes of the userface. Facebook has had three more votes since 2009. The last vote had a response of 700,000 people. This may seem like a lot but it only accounts for 1/10 of 1% of all FB users. Facebooks sees this lack of response as grounds to terminate the option of allowing its users to help in the decision making process. They have in policy that they will swing in users opinion if a vote results in a 30% response.Facebook Vote

Do you think Facebook should allow its users to cast such votes? By elimanating the vote, what will this do to the publics outlook on FB? Have you ever seen an option to make a vote?
