With a win last nite on Monday Night Football the Chicago Bears have moved into first place in the NFC North.  How many of you think that the Chicago Bears are the team to beat in the NFC Division?  I would say that they are the team to beat right now and of course they are from my hometown Chicago IL.

Walmart To Go

Wal-Mart is testing same-day delivery of televisions, toys and other general merchandise bought online in a few U.S. markets as it tries to find new ways to keep up with competitors and to attract busy shoppers this holiday season.
The test of the "Walmart To Go" service began in Northern Virginia and Philadelphia earlier this month and is set to expand to Minneapolis on Tuesday, Walmart U.S. said. Walmart then plans to expand the test to California's San Jose/San Francisco market in late October or early November. 

In the new test, shoppers in the Northern Virginia, Philadelphia and Minneapolis markets can pay a $10 flat fee for same-day delivery of items picked from general merchandise items carried in local stores. Customers can chose an unlimited number of those items.WalmartToGo.

With Walmart locations already being so convenient, do you expect a demand for the "Walmart-To-Go" service?

An Entrepreneur in the Mist of New Legislation

With the increase in mobile held use, The state of New York has passed legislation which bans the use of all cell phones and tablet use during the school hours of the public school system. The students can even bring them inside the buildings. Student's still rely on the technology after school for safety and communication purposes, so it is impractical to leave these devices at home. So where do they safely store them?

This sprung an entrepreneur to create Pure Loyalty. Pure Loyalty sets up specially designed buses in front of the schools, and for $1 a day a student can safely house their mobile device during the school hours. Once school is out the bus in waiting for the student to pick up the device.

It seems that now kids of all ages have their own cellphones and tablets. Do you see in the future more school systems banning the use of these technologies during school hours? What ways could the school systems that impose this rule effectively enforce it without the students needing to leave the phones at home?

People Voting for MLB MVP

For many years we have had writers to decide on who they think should win the the MVP. One of the problems that I have with this problem is that when it comes to someone from the writers home town, they will vote for that person. These writers are suppose to be the professional on the subject and they should not vote on their own personal home town hero but the person that they believe deserves the award. The reason that we have these writers vote for the MVP is because they are suppose to have an unbiased and professional opinion.

If these professionals have an biased opinion what is the difference between them voting for the MVP and allowing the people to vote for the MVP.

Adam Greenberg

Has anyone herd of Adam Greenberg? A few weeks ago I would have said no but after hearing his story which first was available on his one last hit website how can you not feel for the guy. In 2005, Greenberg got to live his dream of making it the to the major leagues a dream that lasted a total of one pitch. The first pitch that came out of the pitchers hand got away from him and hit Greenberg in the head. After dealing with advanced vertigo he was never available to make it back to the big leagues. Finally, after 7 years away from the show, he returns to the big leagues on a one day contract with the Miami Marlins, with help of his website. The only bad part is that if he actually bats tonight he may have to face the knuckle ball pitcher RA Dickey.

What do you think about how he used in a website to get noticed in order to make it back to the big leagues?

2012 Election

Do you think that the reason most people vote is because they only look at if they are republican or a democrate, and also race?  I think that some people really doesn't look at the topics being discussed by each speaker.  most voters go with who is more popular and who other voters ar leaning towards.  I am not saying the uneducated but everyone that doesn't know much about politics.
